No Ordinary Sunshine
January 20, 2009
Sometimes I think of stories, sometimes I think of dreams
Sometimes I think that sweet romance is never what it seems;
For every story often told, all say that love’s only for the bold
Who take the plunge, so deep, so dark, so cold…
Will things be better tomorrow, will there be light in their day
If many things will go so wrong, will things turn right just for today?
For every part that’s ever played, they say love’s just a big charade
Those who think that love’s just a simple game to play…
This is no ordinary sunshine beaming in my life.
Sometimes I think of answers for the questions of my heart
I do not know where to begin, I wonder where to start
For every ode they ever wrote, and feelings that they sugarcoat
Who sing love songs in very different notes…
Will love come my way very soon, or has it passed me by
Should I stay and keep hoping, or bid all these feelings a goodbye?
For every piece of my broken heart, you ask if it will come apart
The day that all there would be is just me and you…
This is no ordinary sunshine beaming in my life.
Some people think of flowers, some people think of stars
Some people think of what theirs could be, but I think of what is ours
I see your soul right through your eyes, and I could only just surmise
That you feel the same way as I do with you…
This is no ordinary sunshine beaming in my life.
